Successful, international conference business seeks Sponsorship Sales Director to take full responsibility for sponsorship and exhibition revenue across a portfolio of both established and launch events. Our client is the market leader in its sector, an innovative, cutting edge industry that is top of the agenda for many businesses, making the events lucrative, well supported and having plenty of opportunity for growth. As Sales Director you will report directly to the MD and manage, train and develop an existing sales team plus recruit future staff as the company continues to upsize. You will work closely with the Production Director to collaborate on strategy and innovate new products, and set revenue targets in conjunction with the MD. You will also have the opportunity to keep your sales skills honed by account managing some of the most important clients and oversee major new business pitches. Candidates need to have solid sponsorship sales experience, including proven experience of team management. The role would either suit an established Sales Director or a Sales Manager ready to take the next step upwards. The company is privately owned and there is the potential for a successful candidate to have equity.
